The Allen Community Non-Profit Programs (ACNP) is the community-based educational, advocacy service, and resource distribution extension of The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York (GACNY). ACNP was established by the pastors of GACNY, Revs. Drs. Floyd and Elaine Flake in an effort to meet the socio-economic needs of members of the Southeast Queens community. ACNP provides services and programming for women, seniors, youth, and the community at large via the following entities:

Allen Women's
Resource Center
Allen Women’s Resource Center (AWRC): A not-for-profit organization created to provide a treatment approach to the needs of women and their children who have been or are in imminent danger of domestic violence, by providing temporary shelter, and counseling. AWRC provides a temporary communal environment for women and children while providing crisis intervention as well as resources that enable victims to realize self-sufficiency through action. AWRC depends on donations, grant funding, and fundraising events to fulfill our mission.

Allen Community
Senior Citizen Centers
The Allen Community Senior Citizen Centers (ACSCC): Serves the elderly in the community through the provision of a variety of comprehensive services that meet the nutritional, recreational, educational, informational needs of program participants in a caring and sensitive manner. It is a place where seniors enjoy programs, activities and services that improve their quality of life and enhance their independence. ACSCC offers opportunities for persons 60 years of age or older to socialize, stay fit, improve health and receive age-related services in a friendly and nurturing environment. Our daily programs and activities help seniors stay active, which, in turn, helps to boost immune systems, lower blood pressure and reduce the likelihood of depression and isolation.

Allen Neighborhood Preservation and Development Corporation
The Allen Neighborhood Preservation and Development Corporation (Allen NP&D): Through a wide range of events throughout the year, Allen NP&D brings Southeast Queens residents, professionals, and business owners together with foundation leaders, board members, financial & housing industry experts, and local leaders for learning and networking programs that inform, challenge, and connect. Allen NP&D focuses on the preservation, revitalization, and restoration of historically undeserved and underutilized communities in Southeast Queens by way of networking, offering workshops, consulting services, and providing resources which will focus on housing and local commercial needs.
